We are a Swedish/English couple doing what makes us happy – designing and creating houses that we would want to live in ourselves. Living in the Costa de la Luz – Coast of Light – we are saturated with incredible light and natural inspiration. Our mission at Mas Tranquila is to create spaces with honesty and integrity using natural materials and impeccable craftsmanship from the local area. Our aesthetic is pared back. Creative architecture and natural light takes centre stage from which balanced, soulful spaces emerge.
From the slow-grown Spanish chestnut of a kitchen table through to the tactile qualities of the walls, there is a flow of uniformity that awakens the senses. You feel grounded, present and calm. We work in a range of creative disciplines and our current projects involve designing, creating and building holiday rental properties. We only rent properties that we have designed ourselves so guests can be assured of the unique ‘Mas Tranquila’ experience.
